I went to Assem, Netherlands today and got back a couple of hours early, so I went to the room and dumped my PC.  Went out for a smoke and "check stuff out" walkabout.  Now, I may take a minute and check out a guy/girl who is playing tunes in a park or a train station....but this dude BLEW ME AWAY!

I stood around for about 20 minutes watching him.  His percussion instrument was like two woks with one turned upside down.  I suppose there is a name for his instrument, but my searches on the web hasn't come up with anything.

Anyway, I thought it was interesting and the guy was very talented to me.

Just wanted to share.....Again, I thought it was way cool.  I took some video with Red's camera that I brought with me and uploaded them to youtube.

He's talented. Looks like the reverse of a "steel drum" also know as "pans" came out in the 30's in Trinidad. Here's an online description.
