I'm thinking of getting some Air Wings for my IS but thought I'd check here to see if anyone would recommend or advise to stay away. Do they help with wind noise for driver and/or pass? How about helmet buffeting? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My bike came with the wings on it so I don't know how it rides without them. One thing I noticed while riding was a lot of wind hitting me in my chest. The wind was coming under the fairing, over the air wings, and over the tank. I made a set of lowers and it fixed the problem.
They work real good as blocking the cold wind off your legs when it is cold out and bringing air in when it is hot (turning them either in or out).

I have them and lowers on my I/S and they do a go job if it is raining the front of your legs will stay dry a long time because they move the air out from you. I ride in cold weather and they made a great difference.

Along with the fork wings are the best wind/buffeting control possible. Turned in they make a great breeze that keeps the twins chilled out in hot weather.

I finally bought these for my Tourer a month or so ago. I already had the Rifle fork lowers, and they work great together. I had to order extra chrome adjustment balls from Baker because I lost one somewhere on the road. Some here have recommended distorting the threads before screwing the balls on, and I am going to do that with the new ones.

I see you have lowers too. Did you add them, or did the bike come w/o? If w/o, how did it change when you put them on?
