We skipped work this afternoon and went to Kennedy Space center for a TEA party protest. There were about 500 people lined up on the road side all waving signs. There were many reporters there and one or two guys trying to agitate the people and get them to say something they could use as "racist". Some sun some rain. The media spun the report as "a few protesters, protesting the cuts in spending at NASA." They wanted to see a bunch of NASA employees out there, but it was just a bunch of TEA partiers. So they said " none of the protesters were willing to identify themselves as NASA employees." WTF??
Obama was at the space center with a hand picked audience telling everyone how much he supports the space program. Except they are going to loose about 7,000 jobs.

The support from the people passing by was overwhelming, many of them turned around to come by a second time. I would say that 90% of them were honking, waving, giving the "thumbs up". A car stopped, blocking traffic, and a guy jumped out and started cheering and waving. Most of them were tourists coming from or going to the space center. Kinda brought a tear to your eye, makes you feel like you indeed are on the right side and doing something good!
The media reported, "there was "some" horn honking". It makes you wonder if ANYTHING you see on the news is accurate.

Why are you surprised by the media reports its been years since there was no bias in the media. Watch what you listen to it is not much different than Russia. The media doesn't really report on some stories at all and the other weapon is skewing the stories.

this administration does NOT need the taxpayer vote...they go after the gay vote, the race vote, the illegal immigrant vote, poor and entitled vote ETC....why would they give a damn about the tax payer vote with that kind of backing ? The media vote is already in the bag as well...as soon as they silence Fox/Hannity/Beck/Limbaugh an the rest. tickedoff

Amen they don't care about us dumb taxpayers and want the unemployment benefits to keep rolling

on.

Them people will vote for thier Lord Barrack to keep this benefit coming in.

This is the democratic hook in the nose they have always used.

Believe me as long as they are in there trying to tax the rich to death, surprise the rich will sit on the money they have , it can't be taxed again.

And Ride out this idiot until he is gone and then you will see a boom period you won't

believe.

I know a lot of millionaires and this is exactly the strategy.

no since trying to make money under this idiot in the White House at this point.

they are playing it safe.

And yes some of you on this board elected this Socialist to rule the country.

Don't hide now sing out.

Too bad that we've had almost a hundred years of conditioning as "Tax Payers".
I'm a citizen of the united states of America. I'm tired of being referred to as a Wage  Slave (i.e. tax payer) to Washington, D.C. It's time to take back our Constitution, enact term limits on those we send to Washington and cut bureauacracy and thus spending. We have to be careful with the money we earn. Let's put people in office who will be respectful and frugal with the monies we entrust to their care.   tickedoff

Personally, I think the problem has less to do with politicians and more to do with Administrators in our government.  There is soooo much fat in the employment side, including the entitlements those employees take for themselves, that you can't make enough law to fix it.  Most people want less laws (like me), but want the administrators to operate their government like a business (like me).
