Brian, there is a small light at the end of the tunnel and it is called retirement.     I have not missed that portion of the job in the least. in the past 24 years....

Well that is a long way off for me and my partner!  Shocked  lol Went to a debriefing at FD next county up that was there on scene. My 1st one and I been on alot bad stuff in my time. Without going into details, kids are always the hardest.......

Listen man, I've seen SOME stuff.. most of it was in Iraq, and it's stuff I probably won't ever have to see again. I haven't seen as much as you have, and it's a good thing, cause I don't think I could handle it. Thanks for what you do, cause not all of us can do it, and someone needs to.

Thanks for the job you guys do.
Got to meet a few of you on Good Friday.  Two teams to my home in 5 minutes and was in transport within 15.  Evidently they got me there in time, I am still here to be typing this  cooldude  Last thing I remember  is telling wife to call 911.

Oh how true on the kids.........  1st one I went on after joining the force, I walked to the ditch and got very sick........  Worst part was the dad survived only because he was drunk.
