Arizona Bike Week over shows moves on to Laughlin

Another Arizona Bike Week is in the can. My lady and I wait all year for this event then it goes so quickly. We left the Valk at home yesterday and rode the Magna. That way on our final walk through all the vendor areas we were less likely to spend money due to the Magna’s much smaller luggage capacity bags. It worked!

I don’t know what the final count for this year’s event was, but I heard estimates that the George Thorogood concert on Saturday drew 30 thousand. I think that was a bit high by about 10k but they did have the best turnout they have ever had for this event. I checked with some of the vendors and got mixed reports of sales. Many of the vendors were heading up to Laughlin for that Rally this week. I wish we could attend that event but the wallet isn’t big enough. On Sunday the event souvenir tent was almost empty except for a hand full of short sleeve T-shirts.

We walked around one parking area on Sunday and I saw six Valks. Not too bad.
