Robbie Robinson convinced me to get a Valkyrie instead of a twinkie. I'm so glad I did. My Motorcycle mentor for many years, He will be missed.

My condolenses on the loss of your friend and mentor. As a kid of 17, my boss at Sears and Roebucks catalog inspired me to ride. He had a 4 cylinder Honda 360, and I learned with him on a CB 175. We rode from 1972 on..... But last Fall, he failed to show up at a meeting place very near his home. Turned out, he was in the early stages of Alzheimers, and had gotten lost. I still ride with him...in fact, we're going out on a breakfast run tomorrow. But, he has to follow close behind, and he doesn't say much anymore. Don't know how much longer we'll safely ride together. Sigh.
But my thoughts and prayers are with him...and with you tonight. It's hard to see a friend and mentor pass.                             Sincerely, Mike in New York

Rob rode an Aprilla. He worked at a bike shop as a parts/ service manager. He was an admirer of Valks but chose to ride a sport bike. He had a mild stroke about 10 months ago so I wonder if it slowed his reaction time. He slammed into the back af a turning car on hwy 1431 near Lago Vista, Texas.

Lost a riding buddy of mine to a stroke about three years ago. Took him about five days to die of thirst after they pulled everything. He would move his eyes from me to my brother (when we spoke to him) at the last but could move nothing else.... liked to go by "Cowboy".
