Been looking all over and just thought 'Why not ask friends?'

I got an old T-Bag from my car mechanic.  I would like a rain cover for it.  I have used garbage bags, both inside and out at different times.  Would like to get a bag type cover I could just pull over the top that would have a draw string or elastic on the bottom.  Bag is about 20" X 16" X 10".

All I use to tie this bag down with is one bungee cord through the lower d-rings hooked onto the bag rails.

Thanks in advance.

Cool Early Bird,  may want to check out www.tbags.com accessories.  Think rain covers sell for around $30 for most models.  Cool

Thanks for that, but.....  I can buy a lot of garbage bags for $30.

All of my searching and I had never found the T-Bags site.

Am I glad my T-Bag came with a built in cover.  That's pretty steep.

What I use with my T-bag are the spacesaver bags.  Those have the one-way valves to squeeze all the air out so they are compact.  Not only does it allow me to put more in my T-bag, but it also waterproofs all my clothing.  Anything else I don't want to get wet I put in plastic bags.  Has always worked well for me and I don't have to stop and put a rain cover on it when I hit the rain.

I lost my cover coming back from Sturgis last August. I was on the freeway in St Lous when I saw it fly off in my mirror. I still haven't gotten a replacement yet, I always have a garbage bag handy in case it rains....I hadn't had to use it yet, but I'm sure it will look "Dorky" uglystupid2

Put everthing in plastic bags and don't worry about it.  It's the same thing you do with leather saddle bags.

I have one of the large size, very heavy duty black garbage bags, and put it inside of the bag.  Then, everything goes inside the garbage bag.

No leaks.  The outer bag is "almost" waterproof, and with the liner, it is!

garbage bags tear but they work for a little while.
You could try a Walmart Canoe bag, brightly colored and will hold up. Should fit over a t-bag. Might give you another option.

I spray mine down with waterproofing stuff for camping equipment (can't think of the name) and it seems to work well.  I also use a large trash bag on the inside just to be sure.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Is the cover outside or inside? My expandable t-bag is on the inside. To be honest my clothes have never been wet while riding. Now if it was to set out in the rain for hours then they might. Last year I used some 21" roller luggage from the wal-mart without a cover. After 3 big rain storms the clothes and most of the bag was dry. Yours shouldn't get to wet sitting behind you. I'm running up to the local HD dealer on Sat for Hogs & Dogs and will check there. They had some on clearance some time ago. If they are there i'll let ya know.
