I guess I wouldn't have any. Yesterday I was not working because of the thing with the other stuff and was feeling a need for a short ride.....So off I go. All seems well and suddenly I notice Boomer has a different sound. I slowed a bit and looked around for anything obvious when she changed notes big time.(sounded like a race car?) What the hell..........I glanced into my right side mirror just in time to see one of my Baffles skid across the road. DAMIT!. I did a quick u turn and stopped in the road and decided real fast what I would do. I'm only 4 miles from home, the baffle is like 8000 degrees, so I'll just go home get the pickem up truck and go pick it up. Sounded like a good plan to me. So I swear this is true I pointed to it and said "Don't go anywhere I'll be right back".
Probably only took me 10 minutes or so to make the trip home and back to find this on the road side.... tickedoff tickedoff Mowing crew got me.......I didn't see them in either direction.  Angry Angry

I made a quick call to Matt at www.carolinabikeandtrike.com and he will have a replacement in the mail next week. Thanks Matt.  cooldude

Burnt pee smells terrible.... then everyone riding behind him afterward would have smelled it as well.

It probably would not have taken long for it to cool off.... kick it in the grass and roll it around a bit maybe.  But, too late now.....    it does look like the cat got it tho...... Grin

Reminds me of the time Ron (EeeezzzyRider) showed up in Baraboo WI, for our fall color ride, missing one of his 'Truck Stacks'...

He never noticed until someone pointed it out  uglystupid2

A picture from one of the Paducah InZanes, shows how large his cannons are...

Ya think he woulda heard it fall off...  Bet there is at least one pi$$ed off cager, somewhere between Ft Wayne IN, and Baraboo WI  tickedoff

You know Mark this could actually be a blessing.

You lost a baffle but you got an interesting story to tell.

And i just bet ole boomer took your mind off the problem you are dealing with and gave you a little

peace for a while.

Remember a lot of 911 Victims were saved by alarm clocks, bandaid stops, and dental appointments

at the time the planes flew in the Tower they were unknowingly saved at the time. Not There.

I'd rather be lucky or blessed as good anytime.
