First thing, he is alright.  minor Road rash, bruises.  He called me from the backseat of a CHP car on the way into Indio to take him to a motel and a hospital to get checked out.  Bike and trailer totaled, he hit a car that bounced off a bridge rail at 70mph 0n I-10 east of Indio.  Don't know much more, he said he would post as soon as he finds his lap top.  I'm gonna post this on the other board, and wait for the report.  That is one tough old bird that I am very fond of, It sure is nice to hear from a friend that has crashed and find out first thing that he is oK.  Beleive me, he really is fine, no strain in his voice or anything  Thank you God! Clint is such a nice guy and I really hate hearing this!  I just got a message from his cousin who happens to be a friend of mine, and he said that Clint was outside of Encino, CA.  He also said there appear to be no broken bones, but he will be sore for a while.  He will let me know when he hears more, but from what Gene said, the car had just passed Clint when it hit the guardrail and bounced off.

It is just such a shame!  I will be keeping Clint in my prayers.

Is he the guy that was gonna do an Iron Butt from Hot Glue's to California? I'm terrible with names, but I spoke some with a guy who I believe was from Kansas and was planning on Iron Butting it out to the left coast...

Glad he's okay either way, coulda been SO much worse...

He is from Independence, MO and was heading to California, then up the coast, Oregon, Washington and then the round and about way to Inzane in Michigan.  It is just a shame that this has happened and put such  a damper on his trip!

This is the guy that had the tent trailer out back at Hot Glue's. His bike is blue and silver and the trailer is painted to match.
I'm glad he is going to be allright. MM is right, he is a real nice guy.
Prayers for you Clint, from TEXAS!

Just talked to Clint, he is a bit sore, but he sounds real good considering what he just went through. he promised to keep everyone up to date on where he is on his way back home. he still thinks he will make INZANE and the VOAl rally in WI.  T.P.
