I have had them on a VTX but not the Valk.  They last about like a Dunlop.

I have had very god luck with the bridgestones, 10-15K with the rear, 16-20K with the front.  There are 3 that fit the back, Excedra 702, 180/16/70, excedra  851, 180/16/70, Battlax 20, 200/16/60.  The Battlax is FAT, barely clears.  That's what I have on now. They all handle well.  cooldude hoser

I've worn out several 200/60 rear tires on my I/S.  Most were Battleax 020 and I like them fine.  That's what I have now and I just replaced a worn-out Cobra.   I get between 9k-10k each.  Just put the Excedra 702 on the front, first time with it, but so far so good.

The tips are by Bill "Grumpy" Gurney of this board, best thing I ever put on.  Bill didn't know it, but I gained 5HP on a dyno run I did after installing the tips.  It was the only change I did between runs, I think it added a little back pressure, and I got lucky.  I'm going to Dyno it again now that it's a year later and see if it's still there.  Last years dyno sheet below.  Hoser
