I was supposed to be there but restrained my back Thursday night.  By the way it was spasming yesterday morning, I knew a 325 mile ride was out of the question.

Oss, when I was there in '07 they told me "what happens at Cheaha stay at Cheaha" !!

A person's lucky to get a cell connection way up there on the Mountain....

that always shocks folks. We get no cell reception up top. And have no phone in any of the cabins. So...communication...is VERY limited. But i'm sure some pics will be coming "out of the woodwork" now... Cheesy Grin

Got Southern Linc and have great reception. It was locked in the trunk all weekend. However, if pics can speak, well, get your eyes and ears ready. wooooohooooooo  Shocked



Can you belive that Jeff Christopher? Looks like he was headed to Hawaii and ended up at Cheaha. And we never could figure who that other fella was. Looks like one of those Far Easterners, you know, from, near Athens? not sure but ain't that east GA?
