The Victory shop here in Evansville has a 02 black interstate for sale. Guy told me a local Dentist traded it in on a side by side. It's all stock but the seat. Don't know anything else about it because they forgot to get the keys from the guy. They are going to call me with details on it.
I'm not interested in it, just thought I would pass along the info. if some one is. Looked very nice.
I'm willing to find out more if anybody wants to know.

I don't know, that's just what they told me. I found it hard to believe they had a bike on their floor that nobody in the place knew anything about, not even a price. Had my wife with me looking at it and the salesman didn't even try to find out, just said they would call me.
I'm not in sales but if I had a guy looking at a bike and his wife was with him, I'd had a hard time letting him out the door. But maybe I'm too pushy!

Bashful Bob is correct. The last year for the Interstate was 01. I got the last one Chicago Cycle had that same year.

No problem though. You only went by what the uninformed at the dealership told you.

Dealer called me today.  The bike is a 2000 model black Interstate. 4,700 miles, original owner has all service records. wants $6800.00
Dealer would not give me the guys name, they are selling it on consignment. But did say if it came down to selling it would call him.
FYI can give you the dealer site if wanted, pics are posted.

I made an offer on this bike today.

Turns out someone put a down payment on it today for $6900 sale.

They have had it for 2 months with NO activity, and suddenly... when Scooby posted on here about it... he said 1/2 of their calls since Saturday have been about this ONE bike.

Methinks someone in the VRCC or close to someone inthe VRCC just got a GREAT deal on an essentially NEW 2000 IS.

Good job to whomever bought it.

Congrats!

Sorry I missed out on it... but you snooze you lose I guess.

I got another one lined up, and it's not slow ugly  uglystupid2 BLACK.  If I had gotten that one... I'd have had to spring for paint too.

I fly to Virginia to get mine on May 14th.

Wish me luck!

Way to go Stude. I looked at it last Sat. and it looked real clean to me.  I tried to get them to tell me the owner did you find out.? Salesman called me today to let me know it sold. Told me the same thing, had a bunch of out of state calls about it couldn't figure out why. I told him I posted it on the site. If I didn't get it I wanted it to go to a good home. Glad you jumped on it!
Let me know if I can help you out in any way.

Yep.  That's the plan.  Flying to Virginia in the afternon tomorrow.  Seller is picking me up at the airport.  Do the deal and get on the road home.  Ride till I get tired, crash in a dirty sock motel and finish up the Sat morning.  If I feel good, I might ride thru.  We'll see.  It's only 650 miles.  Sort of depends on the weather too.  If I am getting rained on... I might stop too, and wait for clearer roads in the AM.

I remember once I had to go to a conference at umd... I got a red-eye out of Greenville, SC to DC,
jumped on the subway right at the DC airport to the end of the line in Silver Springs Md, took the bus
to umd... it was fun, but I fell asleep during the conference...

Don't fall asleep on the hiway! Stop at the dirty sock if you get tired...
