I just got back home to Kansas (valley falls) last night at midnight with my new to me Valkyrie. It took 2200 miles in 3 days to get her here so I won't make Cassoday today but if your around for a week or two give me a shout. There are some nice rides in the area and guy and maes in Williamsburg is always a good ride and time.

Sorry to hear about the health problems for your mom - I wish her and you the best. El dorado huh? I've got several goldwing riding friends around that area and if your looking for someone to show you around the area or do some riding with I'd be happy to give them a shout - otherwise feel free to give me a yell anytime at tybme at yahoo dot com

Dana also known as Valkhound lives in ElDorado, and there are also many other Valk riders in that area. Some in Andover and Wichita. We are in Olathe, KS, but have often gone down that way to ride with friends! We will definitely have to get something together when you are in town! Hey Over here !!!  You left out "Topeka"  Ha ha... J/K... I had the privilege of talking to WD on the phone last night. It was a pleasure visiting with you Wayne. Anytime you are in the area feel free to stop by. If you can make it up on thurs or friday I will be taking apart Engemnt's valk.  Tybme.. Welcome to the vrcc. I too have a 99 I/S. Love it and I am sure you had a great time riding 2k miles We will definitely need to do a get together in the near future. I'll be headed to El Dorado on the 15th and need to be there sometime around noon. If I go I'd have to leave Marquette around 10:30 or so. It would be worth the ride. We had a good time last year. |

Engemt ,looks like the rally is on May 15th, it is called thunder on the smokey,probably alot of hardleys,might be a good place to get together though.

As I expected, It doesn't look like I'll be able to make Marquette this year. We had a good time at Thors Roar (Thunder on the Smokey) last year. Lots of different bikes, not a Harley convention.

If anyone is stuck in KS for memorial weekend and looking for something to do I and several buddies are renting a lodge up at Milford lake. Drop me a line and I'll get you the details. Camping is avilable and I believe they may have a room or two still at the lodge. There will be plenty of riding food and fun.
