"Home is the sailor, home from the sea,
And the hunter home from the hill."

Motomama and Willow are in the house.  It was wonderful to share in the experience of possibly the next to the last official Cheaha gathering.  Big thanks to Tim, Sherry, Jack, Phyllis and all the folks that made it happen.  Thanks to old friends and new for the joy of camaraderie and mutual time in the wind.

We came back through the narrow portion of the weather and only spent about one hundred miles in the rain.  Unfortunately I drowned a digital camera in the pocket of my waterproof jacket, but I believe the digital film can be saved.  Once we cleared the system, we could see the damage it had left behind.  There were swollen rivers and creeks everywhere we looked, standing water where water shouldn't be standing, and this morning, a rather large rolled up steel building alongside the road.

It was a great weekend of good friends, good times, and adventure on the road.
