I heard some faint squeaking on the ride in this morning, sounds to me like it could be the bearings,

how difficult a procedure is it and where is the best place to get them?

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Why do you feel it's the bearings?

Could be:
Brakes as mentioned.
Suspension
Swing-arm
Attachments i.e. fender rails, covers, exhaust extension tips and such.

Suggest you narrow it down before replacing parts needlessly. Save yourself some time and money.

Squeaks are generally 2 parts rubbing together with resonance or vibration.

Went out for a ride at lunch, albiet a quick one, noticed that when I am in a left corner, it goes away (or I just can not hear it)...every thing else seems tight. I will put her on the lift tonight and see if I have any movement. Any tricks to finding the noise?

Mine did the same thing, esp 2 up. Only turning left. I lifted it and spun the wheel, squeak. Took pads out, spun the wheel, no squeek. Cleaned the pads/ caliper, no squeak. Thought it was wb also. Nope, the pads.

I just went through this exact same thing.......seriously.....I'm not joking here.  Drove me nuts.  My first thought was that I had a dry bearing going out.  Looked all over, checked all kinds of possibilities.  This is the proceedure I used to fix mine.........

The first thing you do is get a water hose, then a bucket with warm soapy water in it.  Then proceed to wash the bike.

Dry to a high luster.

Go for a ride.

Squeak will be gone.

Trying to find an annoying squeak can be difficult.

Help in the form of a water pistol can be had.

Simply spray a little on an area, brake caliper, whatever and see if the squeak goes away.

Repeat on a different area until quiet resumes.

You have found the source of the squeak.

Could be the alternator!

I would suggest doing nothing.

You could send a lot (money) after something only to find there is no problem.

Know what I mean!

The bike will not just all of a sudden let you down.

Let the noise get worse until such time you can accurately identify the source.
