thanks

I still have an old fashioned copier (non digital ) and a spare for parts but my main copier is a digital

When its time comes I will have my copier guy hand me the hard drive so I can destroy it

very informative

That video was bloody disturbing!  I called the lady who manages our offices and negotiates the copier leases... she said that every time the technician is there to fix or adjust the copiers, they have it as part of their contract to wipe out the hard drive memory.

After watching that video, I recalled making copies of my 2009 tax returns on there!  Crap!  Nothing is safe anymore... and a stop light  camera probably has pictures of me picking my nose too!!
My life could be ruined.... Angry

I remember back in the day when the risograph film could be used as a negative to read everything that had been printed. Ours at work would jam occasionally and despite copious signs that instructed the jammer to take care of it or report it to someone who coud many people just walked away. I would pull the film out and see what was being copied when it jammed then ambulate down the hall to chat with someone about being polite.
