Congrats! He definitely kept his Valk in tip-top shape...

Hopefully you can time it where you're in Dallas for a Dallas meeting, or some other event so we can all tell ya' Howdy while you're in town...

If you don't want to drive it all the way back to Montana....you can drop it off here at my house in Nashville.  I'll even give you a lift to the airport!   Smiley

How do you find out how many of a certain color scheme were made each year?

And this is Rick's second Valk volks. The first one is a Bumble Bee. Good to see you posting, Rick! And no red X.

I guess if it is written on the internet it has to be true! I hope the I/S leads you to as many lasting friendships as my two Valks have.

Maybe your travel plans will work out so you may join us for the monthly meeting and/or the ride to Greenville and the orchard. Just don't slow down too much going thru Terrell. There is at least one of those gals out that way that will jump on the back, eh Doc! ~Jeff

I second that he takes really good care of his bikes, so I think you'll enjoy the IS. Looks like you'll have time to get to know her on the ride back to Montana.  I did a similar fly and ride deal when I bought my Valk from a guy outside of Chicago.  Your timing will be better though. I picked mine up on a cold day in February and looked like the Michelin man after suiting up for the ride home.

Pic looks so darn nice I may actually take the bra off of my black and beige interstate.

My bike came wearing the bra and I have never even looked under there !

Oh man I cant believe I just admitted to NOT looking under a bra  lol

Beautiful.

If I was to hunt down another Valk that would be the color combo I would seek with a vengeance, or maybe just diligently.  Cheesy

Like a guy on ADVRider.com has as his signature line, Dan'l..."Dood, lower your expectations a little, the BMW GS isn't the Homecoming Queen OR Prom Queen, it's the band camp girl you really wanna take to the dance cause you know you are gonna have a good time."
