I don't post on here a lot, but I could use your prayers tonight. Just found out that our first great granddaughter (McKenzie Lynn Shultz) was born this morning at 4 mo, weighing only 1 lb 1 oz.  She and her mother (Nichole) are in critical condition in York, Pennsylvania.  We really appreciate yall, and will keep you posted on their condition.

You have them , Michael.

May God grant you peace and comfort.  It must be very difficult being so far away and helpless in doing anything physical to help the situation.

Prayers from Colorado

I was a premie.  Granddad said you could put a coffee cup over my head, I was so small.  Said they didn't weigh me because they didn't think I would survive, but if I did, I would be short and skinny.   6'4" and 300lbs, not too short nor skinny.

That was over 55 years ago, medicine has made great strides since them.

Just got a call from my daughter in Pa. Her daughter-in-law is doing better today. She may get to go home in a day or two. The baby is still not out of the woods yet, but even with not fully developed lungs, she is breathing on her on. She is in an incubator, wrapped in saran wrap(to keep her body heat in). The nurses took my grandson's wedding ring and put it on the baby's arm and took pictures to give him. Thank you all for your prayers. Ya'll don't know how much it means to us. This club is truly amazing. I will continue to keep updates on the board as I receive information. Willow, you are so right about feeling helpless being so far from the situation. But, with the help of friends, and God, we are coping. Again, thanks to all of you.

My neighbors had twins last year and they were premature, having to stay in the hospital for about 3-4 weeks before they came home. They are are just fine.
That being said, God heals, performs miracles that we do not understand, he gives us the peace in times of need. All we have to do is believe in his name.
I believe, and I will pray for baby and mom.
