I'm looking for a speedo and tach for a Standard/Tourer. Have had a listing on the Classifieds but no replies except for one UK scammer. Haven't seen anything on ebay lately.

Also looking for suggestions for other alternatives if I can't find OEM replacements any time soon. Ideas?

Finally, I'm in the market for a lightly used Lowrider. If you don't like yours or are selling your bike, let me know. I'll spring for a new one if necessary, but used is always better. Well, used in great shape for a good price is always better.

Just looking for the drivers seat. I bought a passenger seat from a forum member already.

There's a tach on ebay being sold for parts by Pinwall also.

Yeah, I looked at both of those. The speedo body (plastic) is badly creased. I could replace that part via HDL, but the metal bezel is also dented and that part is not sold separately - it is part of the $180 assembly. And the glass and bezel for that tach are gone, again not sold as separate pieces.

bumpin this up   cooldude

Wonderin' what it might take to put any old speedo and tach on the bike. How would I know if a set from a different model Honda would work, say a CB550? Or what changes would I have to make to get a different model's (or make's!) speedo to match up with the Valk's sensor?

Don't know much about electronics.   Embarrassed

You may be better off looking for one of the after market ones off evilBay. There are some digital ones that do speedo and tacho for around 80$ and these come with various adapters to suit all sorts of bikes. Otherwise I suspect that it will be trial and error.

Wish I could help you out. I have a speedo/tach from my '98 that I will be selling but I can't right away. I'm putting an IS fairing, PODS with fog lights, tank and trunk on my '98 but I'm still gathering the last of what I need plus paint. I plan on riding it until I'm ready to reduce downtime. I have to change out the entire wiring harness which I have in hand.
