I see the problem. There is a sleeping chair in the middle of your work area. Raymond

In addition to the 'cold beverages'...I am also curious what kind of 'classic car' is hiding underneath that cover in the garage!?

Ok. . . I’ll venture a guess and embarrass myself and say it’s a Ford hiding under the sheet? Maybe a ‘Tang? In my defense of most likely being wrong, you can’t really see enough to know, though someone on the board is probably sharp enough to nail it.

Answers The car is a green 1966 Mustang owned since new by my late mother, I bought it from the estate to fulfill her wishes to keep it in the family. It has 143K origional miles on it and is in origional condition. I put new seatcovers on it about 6 years ago, overhauled the engine and transmission 2 years ago, and it is cruised weekly and entered in car shows several times a year. I enjoy having it. The fridge in the garage is on the fritz, but the 27 inch tv on top of it and the lounge chair is for Nascar and Speed channel when I take refuge in my "man cave" which is what the missus dubbed the garage. It's also heated and three steps from the back door, so I take refuge in it year round. And yes raymond the chair does nap quite well. I am a lucky man! hoser

. . . Did you say that was the original paint? I really like that shade of Ford green. Any bubbling under the vinyl along the back window channel yet? What State are you in? I’m guessing the Southwest?

How far did you get Hoser?
I got new shoes on the front and rear on the new valk (They had both been slashed while in the previous owners care, Brand new Metzlers too) went through the rear end (which looks great, only 14k on the odometer) Replaced the shocks and tracked down the no start wiring problem (Clutch safety switch)
Have a little more to do tomorrow but it's getting there!

Waiting for a rear rotor from pinwall, and pads from HDL, I'll keep myself busy polishng the wheels, forecast says it's gonna rain all week anyway. And MP that car tire is a 200/60/16 battlax bike tire with a great big ol flat spot down the middle, mounted the new tire yesterday, BS 180/70/16 excedra G850, a VTX oem tire. Going to a cruise tonight, hope the rain holds off! hoser

I’m guessing the Southwest? I think the car was repainted in 1983, while mom still had it, it is the origional color, vinyl is good, I am in Kansas. Hoser Top of the Flint hills prairie
