after reading the post about "make an offer" ads in the classifieds, what is a set of HondaLine fork deflectors worth?  I put Daryl's 8* trees on my trike and those things won't go back on unless I start drillin' and or/cuttin' and I can't bring myself to do that so on the classifieds they go.   Soon as one of you guys tell me what's a fair price, that is.   Grin Grin  Stan

those fork deflectors will work..but you need to bore the holes out where they go up in..i had to do the same thing for mine..i went to sears and got an industrial sized dremel. and got a barrel shapped cutting grinder wheel..as long as you keep the hole well oiled while you grind the whole bigger it will go pretty quick..but if you let it get dry and the aluminum gets hot..you'll cake the wheel up with aluminum, then it's real fun trying to clean that aluminum off of it..if ya need a picture of what i used to grind the holes bigger i'm sure i can take one this weekend and post it..

I paid $100 or so for the set I have.  Of course, they're only worth what somebody is willing to pay I suppose.

3WLonerider---Thanks.  Maybe these are not HondaLine?  They have a flat tab that the bolts which hold the lower fairing stay go through the up into the lower tree, and that hole is countersunk into the tree.  The bolts are up in there about 1/4".

Gear Jammer----Thanks.  That is about what I thought they might be worth.
