Great ride. Met some really nice people. Great weather, good food, nice roads. They gave out $1750 in prize money. WOW. That was a lot for this area. Then someone yelled fire!

Making plans

All Throttle riders. Always supporting others rides and putting on charity rides themselves.

Lady in blue with big smile before the ride, even bigger smile when her name is called to win the $1000 prize.

Donnie and his wife rode with us. That's their daughter. Very sweet young lady.

Time for door prizes.

Somebody, get AL, two bikes with car tires. Get em AL

Then someone yelled car fire. I was running by, talking to 911, looking for an extinguisher, headed for Home Depot front door. Yes, this old fat guy can still run, for about 75 yards.

It was crazy, I ran inside, told the young lady at the customer service/return desk there was a car fire in their parking lot and I needed a fire extinguisher. Before she could say a word I had spotted one on the wall, grabbed it and took off towards the fire. About half way back, I thought if I didn't slow down, I'd never make it. Anyway, used it up and with the help of another rider, used two more and kept it to a minimum till Dothan Fire showed up.

We had used all we had at this point. Dothan arrived soon afterwards and finished the job. Man, what a lot of fun. Bad for the owner, but still a lot of adrenaline.

Maybe an inline fuse would have helped this guy.

Hey, at least he can salvage the rims. It was crackling from the beginning. A rider had just walked over to his bike and heard it then saw the smoke. It was at the point in the first pic within less than 2 minutes.
