Thanks to all. I have thanked him, and so have so many others, so many times, that it's just incredible. The support for our troops is just awesome.

Something that really pissed me off though....during his absence, he "suspended" his auto insurance with ALFA. When he reactivated it last Friday, while he was standing there, still in uniform, they penalized him $130 for doing so...WHAT?? I tried to get him so tell them to F-off but he was so eager to get his wheels he agreed to the penalty. Also, his tag expired while he was away. The state rewarded him with a fine an interest since March when the tag was due...WHAT??? This is how some thank our troops. To say I was pissed is an understatement.  Angry

Don't let those two insults stand, start with your congressman & don't stop until he has a refund and an apology. This is simply unacceptable treatment of our military...

Go to your local vet service officer and have them contact the insurance company and the state license agency.

I agree, if you post some contact info, I say we all write them a letter.  Give us some details, ie name, rank, dates of tour.  We need to let them know this is unacceptable treatment of our Heros.
