I recently aquired a 2003 standard Valkrie. When I apply the rear brake only, it has a slight tendency
to go right. Are the brakes linked like on the gw1500? Any other reason for it to act this way?
Thanks in advance Chuckie

Put this on the Tech page.  No, the brakes aren't linked.

I certainly hope you dont think you can rely on the rear brake for primary stopping power.  The fronts is what you need to be using......then followed by the rear for back-up unless you are going less than 5mph in  a parking lot, then use that rear brake.  That being said.......check your shocks, make sure they are adjusted to the same tension both sides.....check tire pressure.....

As Chris said: Tire pressures should be around 40 fr and 42-46 rear. You don't state mileage on the bike. If high miles: then check swingarm bearings, but that's not too common.
