Hi All,
Cant find the company that used to make these.. they made a moulded leather tank bib that used to go round the bottom of your tank.. that was only for the Standard/tourer .. you could have a design carved in it as well or have a pouch.. the last i read.. and dont ask me where.. was that they where trying to get hold of an interstate tank to use as a template..so they could make for them as well.. anyone know who i'm talking about..or if they are still trading.. dearly like to get one for my Interstate tank ( when i manage to get one that is ) Cheers recall

Can't remember the place either, but I had contacted him about 6 - 8 months ago, and he has retired...  They made the bibs 'to order', so he had/has no inventory to sell...

One of our club sponsors (Talisman Leathers) makes a very nice product.  I ended up ordering from them.

Does anyone know who made this bib.  It's leather.  I had it on the Valk and will be putting it in classifeds soon.  What I found unusual is that the pouch doesn't leak but looks like it would.

Looks like one from Heritage Saddlebags out of  British Columbia.  They are closed, "restructuring" due to the economy.  They did some nice work including tooling.  I have saddlebags and tank bib from them.  Check at www.heritagesaddlebag.com for further word.

I have not figured out how to post pictures yet, (is the user number the same as your user name?)

Answers on multiple levels:

No, the username is not a member number.  Registration to the message board, which calls for a username, is separate from membership in the VRCC, which employs a member number.  If you haven't yet joined the VRCC you can find the link near the upper left corner of the VRCC homepage (Valkyrieriders.com) labeled as "Join the VRCC".  Here's a link:  Join the VRCC

The VRCC member number is needed if you want to STORE your pictures in Photostash.  Photostash is not required to post pictures.  Photostash is actually a little restrictive and cumbersome.  There are othe places to STORE your pictures.  Photobucket is one very popular option.  The VRCC offers another repository called "Just Pics".  Anyplace on the web that you store digital images to which you can link a url will work to post pictures on the message board.

Pictures certainly make the posts more interesting for a large number of our readers.
