During my Sunday phone conversation with my dad who lives in a suburb of Chicago he noted that there were demonstrations there against the Arizona immigration laws.   During our conversation it became apparent that the entire story is not being told.  He had been here in May and is addicted to watching the evening news so he was somewhat aware of our problem.

The demonstrators do not know about the drug war or that illegal’s are participants and involved in nearly 70% of our crime. I wonder if they would be so liberal if a member of their family was accosted in a store parking lot and robbed or raped or worse.

I do not read the papers because they never contain GOOD news and I really don’t need to added any depression to my life but I went on line and searched for a few of the articles that have appeared about our problems. I don’t care how many of what national origin we have here in the US as long as they got here through the proper legal channels.  I am also not politically motivated, in fact I don’t care what monkey presently occupies what orifice in Washington.  I don’t discuss politics, religion or what bike you do or don’t ride.  Those decisions and resulting consequences are up to you.  However, I go from passive to active quickly when non Americans are threatening our existence on our property and that’s exactly what is happening now.  Right now, trips down to any one of the Arizona border towns is not advised.  That in itself is a shame.

Immigration act of 1952 says someone has to enter the country “lawfully”, like my grandparents did in the early 1900’s with their entry into this country recorded, not slinking across a border at night: ( My dad’s mother and her family traveled from Europe but were denied entry because the quota that was in place at that time was filled so they were detoured to Africa where they lived for 18 months until they were able to reapply and then they were allowed entry into the US in 1903. We have this whole adventure well documented. And when both sets of grandparents got here they swore allegiance to this country and never wanted to go back to their birth country. From that point on they considered themselves Americans.  Both sets of grandparents sent five boys to WWII with one not making it back and two, including my dad getting purple hearts. )

These are just a few of the articles that have appeared recently.  In the past, DJ’s on the radio joked that if you came out in the morning and found your pickup truck gone you should head down to the border and with any luck you would see it crossing the border.  Twenty years ago that was about the worst of our problems.  While that problem has not gone away, we now have a bit more serious problem and we’re not getting help from the liberals or Washington so the border states have to take these matters into their own hands which apparently is exactly what Washington wants.

So please before you post support for illegal immigration, come down here, we’ll give you a lift to the border, give you a couple of jugs of water and let you do your own late night meet and greet.   At the very least subscribe to one of the Phoenix newspapers so you can follow who killed, molested, raped, robbed or otherwise violated who.  If you’re not willing to do that then please support our position on this issue.  Maybe we should send like a swat team to kidnap some of those more vocal liberals, bring them down here and leave them on the border for a few nights.  Maybe we'll let them help unload dead illegals who were abandoned in the desert in a locked truck.

Entering this country with guns is considered an invasion.  People who do are not looking for a better life, they’re looking for ways to make a quick buck and they don’t care who gets hurt along the way.  If you have not gotten here through legal channels then I personally consider you a terrorist and you should expect to be treated as such. Those who may consider themselves as Americans but who are with holding information about these illegals are also terriorists and again should be treated as such.  I wonder what would have happened if a plane load of Mexican illegal’s had crashed into the Trade Towers??

The only reason I can see that Washington does not want to address this issue is because it would disrupt their supply of recreational drugs and maybe they would have to do their own yard work and house cleaning. Oh my God would that be terrible!  Then again, according to the demographic study I’ve seen, if Obama had to rely on people who work for a living and actually add to the GNP for his votes maybe the election would have been different. Hmmmmmmm!

Now I'll step off my soap box and get back on the bike.....
