 My father served with the 1St marines in WW2.
I was lucky enough to have him relay his story to me.
  The things he saw and the people he knew.
 He was a corpsman that had to patch up
and repair the men in his company.
  Don,t know how his generation returned and did the job
they did for us.

Waiting for it to be available on DVD.  My dad was on a sub in the south Pacific.  Here's a photo of him at the commissioning of his boat.  He is on the far left.
