Well, Willow got to Seattle Last night.  I picked him up from his hotel this morning and took him to pick up his new Interstate.  He is so happy he almost doesn't care that it is pouring down rain and nasty cold.  After a quick change of seat and windshield and GPS installation, he is on the road headed south along the coast.  If it were not for the temporary tire repair I did on my Tourer yesterday and the fact that I am hip deep in chicken tractor building for the new chickens my wife brought home today, I'd be headed south with him.  The call of the open road is loud today.

Guys when I swapped out bikes last monday for Lori's bike (doing some work that
Carl didn't have time to do), he mentioned that he was leaving wednesday to get I/S and was planning on going south on the coast and then cut across utah.  And will meet all that are going to the Tucumcari ride in this weekend.  Lori is in colorado and is suppose to get back to Kansas city sunday evening, I believe.

I know I still got some things to finish up on her bike but it's coming together.  I have installed the JM cb radio to her standard, wired the had bags up with turn signals, installed blinker buddy, installed and wired up license plate screws with running lights, Hoser came buy and checked in and helped with changing out her rear brake pads, changed out coolant, in process of installing vista cruise.  Called it quites for the night though... going to have to wait to finish up tomorrow on that deal..  (Apparently she has forgotten that their are two calipers on her front wheel and she can squeeze the right lever on handle bar to help slow down crazy2   I still need to pull the intakes and pull the slow jets to see if any of them are plugged up.  (running rough at low rpm's, thinking slow jet is plugged), carb synch, check valves, and do a detail job.. sure did need a good cleaning  Grin

Other than that all is good.  Hope willow is having a good time..  Be safe buddy and will see you when you get back from Tucumcari.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.  My step son just learned to ride a bike today..  Sure was a proud moment to watch him ride up and down the street all on his own.  Makes me realize how much my dad was proud when I learned to ride a bike.  My wife said it was the next best moment to him walking on his own.

Okay going to bed.. .

Some kids are just naturals when it comes to learning that two wheel thing, I figured he would'nt have much problem when I saw him in the grass before I left.  Pavement is much easer than the lawn.  Congrats to the young feller.   cooldude Hoser

I spoke with Willow this evening and he is in Sacramento, California.  He will be there for a couple of days visiting with family.  He head will probably leave there Tuesday and head toward Tucumcari, NM which is where I will meet up with him on Friday.

I am having a great time in Colorado Springs visiting with the Kinter clan.  I will be getting home tomorrow night, then work a few days before heading to NM.

Thank you Stude31 for all the work you have done on my bike!  I will make you a "special" pie in Michigan!  Evil angel
