Bikers don't need shrinks!

I probably should have posted something sooner (no pun intended), but a couple of us are heading to Tulsa tomorrow for the 1st ever Oklahoma Ride for Kids Sunday morning to raise money to help kids with brain tumors (the most deadly cancer for kids).  Love to have anyone join us who would like to. So far, 3 bikes from DFW, 1 from Waco, 2 from Kansas going to join our Okie friends (not all Valks). Here is a link for info http://www.pbtfus.org/rideforkids/calendar/enls/Oklahoma2010_ENL.pdf

If you want to join up with us on the way, email me tonight at gtouchstone(at)yahoo.com. Otherwise, meet us there. I'll have the black Standard with black sidecar.  Had to mention black so you would know it amongst all those other Valks with sidecars, eh?

Weather says it will be rain free and tornado free weekend in Tulsa!  They can use the break.

Great start for Oklahoma. Good to meet some other Valk brothers in Tulsa.  Wish I had asked Bobby what kind of speakers those were mounted to the back of his windshield. Big chrome rectangles. If anyone knows, would you let me know?

Guessing the 2nd annual Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's Oklahoma Ride for Kids will be same time next year.  A bunch of bikers came together to help some really sick kids. One biker walked away with a claim check for a new Honda motorcycle.

Here's the link to see when their ride nearest you takes place.  http://www.pbtfus.org/rideforkids/calendar/2010/ Ours in North Texas is 1st Sunday in Oct, but lots of them before then.
