Just wanted to let you DFW guys know I made it home on Friday afternoon. Very cold, very windy, and very rainy all the way home. After 1900 miles in the saddle, I really got to know my new I/S very well; and love her all the more.

I enjoyed meeting all of you at "Landing of the Valks" and for the knowledge shared
at the Celina wrench party. I had a great time and appreciate your hospitality.

A special thanks to Wanderer for puttin' me up while I was there and for all the help
getting the lady ready for the trip home.

Ride safe, thanks again for everything !!

We sure enjoyed meeting you Rick. Glad you were able to make the Landing and hang out with us for a few days. Good to hear you made it home with "my" bike ... take good care of her and bring her back for visits often!

She's in a better place now.

It was good to meet you.  Ride safely up there where speed limits are optional.

Thanks for posting, Rick, as well as for the personal daily ride reports! BRRRRRR! Thank goodness for electric riding gear.

We all enjoyed seeing new life coming back to the ole phat gal!

Here is one that might do as an avatar until you can come up with something better...

Just got off the road myself... shot this one on the way back home from the first ever Oklahoma Ride for Kids. 650 miles round trip hardly makes for one good day compared to your 1,900 mile run.

Keep in touch, Pal. ~Jeff

Hay Jeff!  One of your saddle bags has a big ole hole in it.... You might want to have a look at that the first chance you get. Smiley

I think that is the bike that likes to lay down on him.

Hay Jimmy~ That is the heat exchanger part of the refrigeration unit!

I think that is the bike that likes to lay down on him.

I don't usually use the side stand, EB. Mostly just for pictures. Usually just ride her into the ground like my old Schwinn Sting Ray only don't have to deal with the pedal hanging up. Sure is fun being a kid again! ~Jeff
