I purchased this bike from Robert Growcock back last November and worked on it through the winter. Smiley

It feels real good to bring a Valk back to life after it has been sitting. Pulled the carb bank cleaned and adjust the carbs, new fluids, brake pads, intake o-rings, plugs. Rewired the wiring for the Corbin bags. Pulled the pumpkin, replaced the drive shaft, lubed spindles and installed new rear tire. Installed an electric gas valve on the fuel system and a whole lot of cleaning she is running and looking great.

She still get comments on the paint job every where I go and it's around 10 years old. Thanks Robert for letting me share in the thrill of owning Greenzila. Hope things are going well for you.

The VRCC should have issued a diploma to those who are bringing a Valk back to life!!!

Good work

Joe, I wish that I was making that ride but I have to work on my other project.

We bought this place a little over a year ago and we've been trying to bring it back also. I plan to cover this end that weekend. Here are some pic's of our progress.

Is that a Habor Freight lift table and if so how do you like it? I'm thinking about getting one.

Thanks Jim and I will be at Inzane Lord willing. You know what they say Jack of all trades Master of none. I like building and fixing things but I hope this is my last house remodeling. Looking forward to riding with you soon.

Mac

Yes the lift is a harbor freight lift and I've been real happy with it.

Dave it is the one that you have to pump up with your foot. I can't remember the model. It sells for around $300.00. It has been a real nice table.
