I have run the Batteries Plus battery in my last two bikes. The one on the Valk is about 4-5 years old...I have run it down to past dead and it has come back charging from the alternator. Price is a bit more reasonable than the stock unit.

Hondas dealer 2 miles away, 107 dollars and 1 hour later I was back on the road. (I know, I should have replaced it when I bought the bike..) Did the alternator charging test as per the manual when I got home, so I verified battery death.
