Hmmm.....good question.  I know my hd bud uses it. Most of the time he empties it out of the dump trucks oil right into his bike.  |

It's cheap compared to motorcycle oil and it meets Honda specs.

It's a heavy duty oil that meets diesel specs. Not just for diesels.

I am currently running Amsoil Diesel oil, synthetic....then again, I am not known for consistency in my oil choices. |

Diesel oil doesn't contain the friction modifyers that mess up a wet clutch.

I ran it for quite some time in both of my bikes but switched to Delo 15w-40 this time around (only because I switched to Delo for the truck. The bikes were running fine on Rotella). |

I've been using Rotella 15/40 non-syn for about 8 to 10 years in a '97 Tourer that is now at 221K, has the OEM clutch, never had the engine opened, except for valve adj's about every 30 or 40K and I change the oil and filter at about 4500 miles.
