So recently my idle adjustment has become very hard to turn...very! tickedoff  Any suggestions to rectify this?

A little liquid wrench should help, if it is water, soap, dirt, rust residue causing the issue.

if you are attempting to increase engine speed.  It could need lubrication also.

Had this same kind of problem awhile ago, wound up the adjustment screw inside the knob was bent.  Replaced it and no more problems.

Same problem here last year, and we found the screw inside the throttle adjustment knob was bent. Took it apart and replaced it; all is fine now.
