Was out and about on the Valk yesterday and pulled into this little Ice Cream stand in Hinckley, IL. (Dairy Joy) for a rest and a choclate malt. As I was parking next to a couple of Ultra Glides the first  couple looked me and the Valk over then say "HI" and took off.  The second couple looks the bike over and the driver said "Honda really screwed up when they stopped making that bike." All I could say was "Yes they did!" Kinda made that choclate malt just that much tastier.

there ya go......it's top dog and they know it.

I was at a charity event Saturday at a Honda dealer, lot's of v-twins of all brands and a goodly number of Harleys......I got a fair number of compliments myself.

I am fortunate, I could ride any bike I want to.

I like my Harly because of it's simplicity and it looks like a motorcycle.

I bought the KLR for the same reason.

Mean Streak, Kawasaki, does not get more fun than that thing.

Would have bought a Gold Wing, but thought it looks like something from the Plastic Planet and

like I am sorry , Scooter Land.

The Interstate is part Gold Wing part Hot Rod. That is why i ride it..

It looks like a Motorcycle.

If it was fuel injected it would be almost perfect.

Does anyone offer fuel injection for the Valkyrie?

A company here in Norway offered me to build a fuel injection for me. The price is close to $3000.00
I have not decided yet....

Had a similar experience at of all place a HONDA DEALERSHIP!

I had stopped in to have a spare key made and as I was leaving a HD on his Roadglide was getting ready to leave. I told him he had a good looking bike (it really wasn't) Wink wanting to make him feel comfortable in his surroundings. Told him I had looked at a couple of Streetglides that I liked alot but just couldn't part with me bike. He looked over at my Valk and said " yeah I can see why..."

Made my day.

It is always great to offer a rider a complement on his bike. Nothing wrong with that. Back when I owned my Harleys, I always made it a point to comment on the metrics. It's really all about the "Bigger Brotherhood" cooldude

Stopped for gas and was finishing up when an ole timer came over to admire my I/S.  He kept looking her over and complimented how she looked good.

Then, just before he walked away he asked: "Six cylinders, huh?  Does it still have the Harley sound?"

I just smiled and told him that it sounded a little different now.   Wink

I was recently at the Grand Canyon north rim (in a  rented cage) when I saw a few guys on bike 1 was a wing, so I started talking to the guys, I had on my VALKYRIE BY CHOICE shirt and the guy on the HD asks what are you going to get when your VALK wears out, a wing? I said no another Valk.  He then says that what everyone who owns one says the should have never stopped making them. I agreed and we parted ways. Made me smile inside and out.  Ps earlier that day on the south rim I saw 2 Valks a Black one and A GOLD and BLACK one they looked sharp the took off before I could talk to them or get a picture. cooldude cooldude cooldude
