Was wondering about makin reservations at the Motel 6

I use that motel all the time for my rides. Like most brand name motels nowadays its a Hindu Hilton . I like it cause its a single level and you park your bike right at your door. The manager's name is Barbara and she always quotes me $31.66 tax included for a single and $37.98 tax included for a double that's a savings of a few bucks . On a recent ride we had both single and double cost $31.66    Just don't pay more than $31.66 for a single or $37.98 for a double.A few of us will be rollin' in around 5:00 (est ) tomorrow cruise the parking lot and look for my bike " BADMOJO " . What time do you plan to hit K-Town ? Don't eat a late lunch as we plan to ride out to the local steak house around 7:00.

Never got the PM, was the motel guy correct in just taking my name down and telling me he would hold a room for me without a deposit?

Yeah you'll have a room just tell them to try and get us all as close together as possible.See you tomorrow

Looks like I could ride down to 129 then up the Foothills Parkway and loop back to the Motel. If I get down there in time. If anyone else is there early they can go with....

US 129 is closed just pass The Foothills Parkway ( Rockslide ) only way to get to The Dragon is cross The Cherohala Skyline or The Great Smoky Mountains both of these routes are 250 miles round trip out of Knoxville. I'll send you my cell # I'm guessing you are coming down I-75 out of The Blue Grass if so stop and call me when you cross into The Great State Of Tennessee. Check PM for # . I'll make sure I bring a pic of the bike when it was on the Valk calendar, I totaled that Valk last summer, now I got a Black & Red. It was an awsome bike, had 100k on it...
