Are velocity stacks available for the I/S model.  I've heard that they do not fit, then they do - with a small modification.  And where are these available?

thanks for any input on this

I believe they will fit if you put a spacer under the front of the tank, I think BigBF sells a spacer or you could make your own.
I think someone just posted in the sand box that HDL was the only one selling the stacks. I am sure others will chime in.

I am putting an IS tank on my std.  I have velocity stacks.  I put a BigBF spacer on the front of the tank, and during mockup, the tank clears the stacks, just barely.  I may add another washer.  BigBF also sends a longer bolt.

Yes. The Velocity Stacks should fit the interstate and as far as I can tell, Direct Line is the only one who still carries them. I ordered a set today.

BigBF does carry the front spacer and longer bolt for the gas tank which all models require when installing the V Stacks. He also carries a set of screens that you install in the stacks. Gives them a very nice look. Here's the link;

HLD has been out of these for months. IF you ordered online then you should call them and cancel or you will be put on an indefinite waiting list. They say that they are on back order and have a deal with a manufacturer to have them made but will be many months yet. I call twice a month about them. This was my information since last week.
