Hey Charlie, is it true you get a Dairy Queen directory when you buy a Wing.  2funny

Nice looking ride you have there, what year, miles, etc., and I'm with Joe on this...spending the kids inheritance. Depending on my wife's health, I'm hoping to be able to travel & see you again in Michigan.

MP.....I'll be on the Wing in Michigan, the Valk is gonna be for sale as soon as I get it cleaned up.

John ......it is indeed a 2004 as JimL stated. It has 18,000 miles on it and is in showroom condition.   Kids inheritance?? Not really......my EX passed away last month.....after 23 years of paying alimony this is for ME !!!   Grin Grin Grin Grin

I know it might seem a little harsh to some, but I understand where you're coming from.

I'll bet the river bottom farm you will regret selling the Valk for the tupperware wagon. If you've seen one Goldwing you've seen them all much like the Harley the Valkyrie is unique. Remember all those folks coming up to you to talk about you're bike  ???  Those days are gone  coolsmiley

Better idea!!! Instead of selling the Valk, just let me take care of it
for a few years! I'll even pay for half of the gas and maintenance!! Wink

you deserve a new toy Charliemac, you sure been thru a bunch.   But I seen that garage of yours and there is plenty of room in there for a Valk and a Wing.

Maybe ride it up the road a piece to Highbinders place for a spell so you can realize how much you miss the fast 97 red and white Valkyrie, he has even more garage space than you.....and Lady Draco may just make it run better than you ever could she is pretty good wrenching a bike

I would suggest keeping the Valk, at least until next year.  Be 100% certain you want to let it go.  Have heard LOTS of regrets about selling their valk from both GW and HD riders.  If by this time next year, when you walk out to the garage, it is the GW you pick to ride, then sell the Valk.

Congrats Charlie. I hate to see you sell the Valkyrie but all that matters is whether or not you are happy. Good luck. coolsmiley

Almost everyone I know who has sold a Valk and bought something else to ride has regretted it.

If you can keep them both, do it.

Life is far too short for regrets.

reply to all.........yes, I've thought about keeping the (or a ) Valk. The previous owner had an ad on the classifieds wanting to trade down from the Interstate to a standard or a tourer.  I may do the same. More later...............
