Just got back from riding in the hill country down near Bandera!! it is an awesome place to ride... I met a couple that had a twin to my valk and told them about the VRCC. Hope to see them on here sometime... I also saw a couple of other Valks while I was there... there were so many bikes down there.. I hope we can get a group to go riding down there sometime.. The three sisters is an awesome place to ride and meet other bikers..

It's on my list of places to go  cooldude ride.

I tested my riding in 95+ riding this past Sunday in preparation for going to Inzane this July. I went about 400 miles and rode to Frederick, OK and back Sunday. Conclusion; I was ok, bike runs great. Grin. I am ready.  ~TJ

I was down there about a month ago.  It is really pretty and the riding is awesome.  I stayed in Fredericksburg and rode the 3 sisters also.  There is also some good BBQ down there.  I highly recommend.

Denise and I ran them last year.We rode on a Wednesday and only saw one other biker. It was kind of scary all by ourselves and cell phones don't work in most of that area. Rode back to Fredericksburg by way of Utopia and the Lost Maples Forest. The alt. on the valk died but we made it back to Austin rented a U-haul and came on home. Kind of a blessing cause as we got close to Houston the bottom fell out with very hard rain and some Hail. Ordered a goldwing replacement alt from HDL had it overnighted to the house 245 bucks and was riding the next day. cooldude

We also ran it on a Car Tire. And highway 16 from Kerrville to Medina is also a very good bike road.

Love that area!  We - my family and I - go camping near Leakey every year.  Went three times last summer!  Anyway,  here's some pics from an October '09 ride through the Three Sisters.  We left from Fredericksburg, but stayed in Luckenbach.

Enjoy...
