Listen up folks I got some good stuff from this ride...we'll start with the best first.....

Some bad news here....Superman is dead, Elvis is not coming back, Santa Claus is a lie....and Smokin'jo May, leader of the pack...hero of the couch potato's and legendary Valk rider...showed up at his own ride in on Saturday nite in a "Car"....something about rain... :'(

I learned that with all the places I've traveled to all over this country, the treehouse is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen....8 stories high and I couldn't find a nail in the tree, I don't think a level or square was used in the whole place...just amazing...if you're ever in Tn. you have to go see this place....

I learned that the road to the Brushy Mt. State Pen was pretty challenging, made Va. 16 considered the most dangerous road in Va. look like a straight road... Grin

I learned that this man sold his Valk a few years back and now walks around with flowers in his ears waving the flag and singing something about San Francisco.... Grin

I learned that this man always has an improtant messege to share with the world..... cooldude

I learned  alot more but this is taking a long time on dial-up so I'll take a break for now..... Smiley

It may be a while before Joe lives that one down.  Grin

No matter, he still put on a great ride and parking lot gathering.  Smiley

Always a treat riding with you and Tracy.

See you in Bardstown in a couple of weeks.

Damn Don you would'nt rat a man out would you  ???  In my defence here's my side of this story. First and foremost I made the entire ride and only missed about 9 miles of super-slab back to the motel.Lucky 13 had borrowed a fork tool from Don and I was to bring it back to him at the motel friday evening  along with a quart of Tennessee's finest shine to another rider that attended this ride ( I forgot both on friday  Undecided and broke off from the ride 9 miles from the motel  to go get them.) I got soaked going home and after changin' clothes I was headed back to the motel the big black cloud over my house with lightning made the call easy to take the car on the 12 mile ride back to the motel....You would think I'd get a atta-boy for stayin' in a motel 12 miles from home just to hang out with my fellow riders  Wink

You're right Joe...I'm sure if we all were in the same situation we would have done the same thing....right guys? cooldude Now the old Smokin'jo would have walked into the house soaking wet, grabbed the box of tools, put the jug of shine in his coat pocket...walked back out into the rain, got on his bike and rode thru hell and high water to get back to his thirsty buddy's...right guys? Shocked.....Now I know I could have left this story out of my report, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.. Grin Evil
