Had a ton of fun at the Blue & Gray Ride last year... but alas, the oldest step-daughter decided to have her wedding on the 12th (funny, nobody checked with me first  ??? ).

I tried to get her to move it a week  (I actually did)... even tried bribery... she wouldn't budge.

Oh well.... I told the wife's other two, when the time comes, I would pay for them to elope to Vegas (fingers crossed).

Hope everyone has fun... maybe next year.

OK, I'm new to this forum and have a couple of questions.  I've been riding for over forty years but have never attended one of these events.

Bardstown is the start of this ride but does everyone return to Bardstown each night?

Is there a start/return time for each day?

Does everyone gather for breakfast, lunch and evening meals?

Is there any down time for simply getting to know each other?

Although I'm a newbie to this group, you can call me

Unfortunately, I am scheduled to work both Saturday and Sunday but, I'm planning on making the evening activities.

I am in another group that does something similar to this.  I host the Annual Bluegrass Fieros Cookout and Lying Contest.  We have a lot of fun kicking tires and telling stories also.  Looking forward to it.  I should be easy to spot, I'll be the guy riding a Valkyrie.   Wink

I already have reservations for one room, as far as I'm concerned, you can have Dales bed and he can sleep on the floor. Can't be as cold as it is when hes at home with his wife!

Planning on making it to the arch on the way out or the way back, will depend on how the coin lands. I doubt that we make it through by 9 am though... St. Louis is a 6 hour ride.

Dave, its the last exit before 465 east, I put it in my gps as Indianapolis and it came up fine. Its on S keystone ave and shows up as an Indianapolis address.
