My 02 standard is running crappy at low speeds about 35-45 while just giving enought gas to go at that speed an not any faster .It misfires an pops .When I accelerate it is great an it idles  good at about 700 rpm.I tried seafoam with no change. The longest it has been sitting is two weeks. I also have changed the plugs with no change.HELP

How many miles on bike? Also; has any work been done on exhaust, vacuum lines, intake runner O rings, hose clamps? Popping is usually an indicator of one or more of these needing to be replaced. None are difficult and the shop talk section can help with all of these. The clamps are the ones above and below the carbs. In 104K miles, I've replaced these things several years ago and still have no more issues.

Could be several things as mentioned above. Also try using a different brand of gas, preferably without ethanol it you have that option in your area. Mine does the same thing but it comes and goes. Two weeks ago it was poping like a pop-corn popper, but right now its running great. The only difference between then and now is the gas.

Also, your idle should be 900 rpm instead of 700
