What type are you using? If you're using the $24 items from Kuryakyn they should come with double stick tape. Or, if you bought the same thing at a truck stop for $5, then go buy some double stick tape and put 2-3 layers about an inch long at the Dr. Pepper locations; 10, 2, & 4. I've had mine on for about four years and they have yet to come loose.

Well they are the ones ,, but the double stick tape must be a lot thinner than you have .. because it would only stick in 2 places.. you could still get a 20 pence between the other 2... so i have come up with a fit of my own.. go get 2 hoover brush flat belts .. they fit over the speedo & tacho stick with a bit of silicone just to hold in place.. then some round outside of the belts a little spread round the inside of the Visor and fit.. not only does it give you a good all round fit, it also centralise's the visors .. have fun recall

Help me out with the truck stop $5 item. What is it used for on a truck and what is it called?

It's been awhile since I bought one at this place but I believe this is the item needed for the tach and speedo. I do know it's exactly the same thing you get from Kuryakyn, put them side by side and you can't tell the difference...except in the wallet. The shop is about 70 miles away or I'd go pick up some for you, wish I still had the container they came in so I could be more specific for you.

John, I've got them too. I paid only $4.00 for mine. I saw them on Sealskiners bike and they wowed me. I'm gonna look for the package and post a picture if I can find it.

I have the truckstop ones. Put them on with a thin layer of clear silicone sealer. Size is the same on visor and housing. Cut a slot at bottom of visor with hacksaw to drain any water out. Fuzzy

Tape light cardboard around housing, extending forward the front face, to form a ledge to line up the two parts. Done this way, you do not have to hold them together as it dries. Fuzzy
