Terry, get them at Chaparall, I'd get #38 instead of the OEM #35. The slightly larger size helps prevent clogging up with our corn liquor gas they're forcing on us here in Florida. The idiots in Tallahassee...they're costing me roughly 2.5 mpg, and they're stupid enough to think they're saving on gas consumption.

I bought mine from my local dealer. They were cheaper than the net and in stock also.

go directly to Sudco....never a problem and cheaper than HDL.

Not convinced the .38 are any better than the .35.  The difference is 30 microns.  If you've got particles plugging 350 micron (.35mm) slow jets then you've got other problems.

Now, if you're trying to add fuel for the slow jet range, I say go for the larger size.  Otherwise stay with stock.

I'm sure there are a lot of opinions out there, this is mine.

Could always try Sudco in California. That's the first time I've heard of a problem with Chaparall, friend of mine has used them twice recently with no trouble.

It's the right hand section under N424-21, the second p/n down on the left: 019-006 are the #38 jets. You'll need to go to the home page to get their phone number.

Damn wish I knew of Chapparel's crappy service before I ordered a full set of jets.  I paid $18.00 to get them here in 2 days and they haven't showed up yet.  Today is day #3. There will be no Valk riding this weekend, guess I will have to ride the always reliable yamaha Roadliner!

I was pointed to Jets R US by a trusted VRCC member.
Just placed my order two days ago and they should be here the next couple of days.

I went with the38 slow GENUINE jets, not much difference in price of OEM EQUIVALENT ones.

A lot of dealers carry 38's, because they fit many applications but they may not have six in stock. They can order them and are usually priced the same or better than online suppliers on these items minus shipping. You won't regret the 38's because your warm up time from start up to in gear is much shorter and in warm weather you may not need the choke at all. It will be different on start up. Gas mileage on mine is same or better.
(Last tank 40 mpg., two up, state backroads.)

I get my jets here.  Fast shipping, and prices are ok.  Made me laugh when I made an order and then noted their address is a few miles from my house!
