Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

Hi All,

I have the 'Quick Trunk removal mod' on my 99IS to allow me to remove the trunk quickly.
That went very well.

I also added the taillight and harness from a Tourer.
That went well.

But now the tail light is in the way of the trunk mounted CB.

Does anyone have a 'Super Valk' with the CB and both antennas mounted?
I did find this picture of the CB mounted below the radio, but I have already made use of that space.

Has anyone ever put the CB in the fairing, or behind a Corbin side panel?

I really appreciate this forum for all the great experience and information that flows through it.

Best regards,

Glenn

I would think anywhere you can make it fit would work.  By the radio is easy, but you have the space used up.

Ever think about installing it in the lid of one of your saddlebags?

Haven't taken a tape measure to it, but it should fit. Planning on installing some electronics there on my wife's bike soon.
