Golan Fuel Filter - inside parts

I bought a Golan mini fuel filter (not super mini).  When i took the filter apart, the only thing inside was a flat filter roughly the size of a quarter and a spring to hold quarter size piece in place.  ???  Is that what you other Golan users are seeing or am i missing some pieces?

Thats pretty much it the screen is 10 micron better than most. Most fuel filters are 40 microns or better. It wont filter out the rust sediment but all the rest will be gone and the sediment can be drained at the bowls.
