Are you going to ride up to Bardstown with us ?  Rick ( Flask ) and couple more said they was ridin' up from Flordia ( I've not heard a confirm on this  Undecided ) . I told Rick about the Super 8 at exit 122 the Clinton / Norris exit off I-75 .I'm meeting a couple more bikes at  Hardees across the road from the Super 8 for breakfast friday morning 9:00 . From there we plan to take the scenic route to Bardstown.Link has motel information .

Hey Joe -
I will be there as planned. Something came up with my brother and he will not make it. Still waiting on Tropic Traveler ( Eddie ) to confirm if he is going. I know he really wants to go but his job situation may hinder his going.
Either way I will be there and really looking forward it !!!!!!!!

Carolyn and I went by a cool historic place near here this weekend... Hopewell, or "the Cherry place"...
It was built so long ago that there is a log cabin at its core. It is on a hill, used to be over awesome
bottom land, now it is over an undeveloped (Clemson owns all the near by shore) part of Lake Hartwell.

The Pickens family built it so long ago that they were still making treaties with the Indians...

It recently got a new standing seam roof...



Here's the nicest walnut tree I know of...

Great photos...I imagine that Walnut tree dates back to the construction of that house.

Great Mike  cooldude  If I get off in time maybe we can hook-up and do supper . Flask ( Rick ) should be there as well . I'll PM you my cell # when you get in the hood give me a call . I've been on over-time since the day after Memorial Day even had to work all last weekend  Sad  I've already told my boss I'm going home tomorrow just not sure how long it will take me to take care of what needs done tomorrow  Undecided
