I spoke to the hotel people tonight and they are ready for us.....we will all be in the same area and I was told we have 50+ rooms already reserved cooldude almost all of the rooms are ground level, they told me that folks coming in without reservations would be no problem but they would be on the second floor....there are somewhere around 100 rooms in this hotel....pack your swimming gear, the pool is open....I also notified them of some folks coming in early, like wed. and thursday...Saturday's ride will be kickstands up a 9 a.m. so be sure to have had breakfast and be fueled up.....we have an all night stop and go right next store and the hotel has a full continental breakfast....I will be there thursday and Joe is arriving friday afternoon....we'll see ya there and ride safe....Highbinder

This is not a DRY county or anything is it?  That is important information, to have.  I need to be properly provisioned if it is.

Cool...coming in from Rhode Island...and I am assuming it is not a dry county and that I can get beer next door at the "stop and go"...if it's anything different, it would be good to know!

You can only go half way into the darkest forest before you are coming out the other side, unless of course, you have been walking in circles...

Bardstown is not in a dry county Smiley...plenty of choices....more then I've ever seen...we sampled a few while scouting out the area...the best so far was Knob Hill, alittle pricey but excellent..... cooldude

We are getting ready. Gonna pack some stuff tonight. Anyone know where the nearest liquor store is?  crazy2 We should have about 5-8 bikes from up here, riding in about 5p.

Anyone got a weather check?

Just lettin' you know Brian the liquor is cheaper in Bardstown...In my hometown Knob Creek is around $40.00 a bottle....In Bardstown it was $27.00 on sale.

Cool. Told Kit that I may actually not buy whiskey this weekend.  Shocked Po & Painter (Rosie & Gary) got me hooked on PBR back in March. I dont like beer but this is tasty! BUT, if they dont have it i might resort back to some KY's best. See ya friday.

Knob Creek now that sounds like a Cult Classic.

Never heard of that one.

But then again it's good it's cheaper there.

Be safe and have fun... We can't make the ride, Boss says I can't have the time off because of a deadline on some tooling we need to meet. Cry

Based on the forecasted weather, Friday and Saturday should be good days for riding, Sunday's most likely gonna be wet.
