A mediocre motorcyce is faster than most cars. uglystupid2

I had a guy in a new GTO race me this AM.  TWICE!

If I would have been on my IS it would have been a little bit better of a race.  But I was on Blue today, and chewed him up.  He had the balls to talk to me at a stop light after though... and said

"WOW!  That's thing is FAST for a big bike."

I said... "Yeah.  Just thing how fast she'd be if I pulled the trigger on a super charger like YOU got?"

I hope he learned something.   But probably not.  Roll Eyes

It's all about the challenge.  Who knows, you might have missed a shift, lost traction or slowed to avoid some squirrel and lost.  He'd have pulled off feeling like he'd really done something.  Cheesy

Yeah, LOLOL, I've had more than one car try it. Usually it's a bone-stock-mobile
with loud mufflers, a louder radio and a Chinese guy named Sum Yung Punk
behind the wheel. Only once was it even close. Don't even remember what
kind of car it was.....but it was a v-8.

I have been taken on the Valk by:

Z06 Vette.
SRT-8 Charger
Pontiac G8
Dodge Viper

A new mustang GT is close enough that you better not miss a shift... but the Valk will take them.  At least in MY experience.

The cars in the list above are ALL over 400 HP.

Hmm, well I haven't tried it but, I run with a bunch of Pontiac Fiero enthusists.

Don't laugh, ever seen a Pontiac Fiero with a Northstar or a LS4?  Slouches they are not.

Hell dude... when I was a kid... (Mid 80's) we considered the Fiero GT's pocket rockets.  They were pretty fast with the 6 cyl.  Swap in a real power plant and there is no doubt they'd smoke.

I had a '76 Caddilac Sedan de'Ville when I was in high school.  I got it from my dad.  I went thru the 500 CI engine in that tub and got it cranking out over 450 HP.  While the thing was a lead-sled, it'd flat roast the tires off the rims if you hammered it.

Obviously, I can't ride my Valk and drive any of my Fieros to run one against the other but, I've got a 3800SC version that is pretty damn quick.  I think the Valk would take it but, I'm not 100% sure.   Evil

I had a Nissan 350Z leave me on the Valk, that car was mooooooving! Stay away from the 350Z unless you are supercharged or running NOS.
Had a guy in an HHR PT Cruiser want to see what the Valk had. SOOOOOOOO I showed him, he caught me at the next light and said that big ol bike RUNS! I just smiled and said yea she does, good thing I did let her really go huh? He just laughed as I did too. The PT was a little faster than I thought it would be but still no match for the Valk.

Yep, pretty fast.  There's a guy in my other forum running a 3800 formerly supercharged but now turbo charged that's getting close to breaking into the nine second bracket but, I'm not much into drag racing.  I auto cross though.
