Anyone recommend a good computer registry cleaning product - preferably FREE?   I've looked at a couple like Registry Easy (on sale for aobut $36) but don't know if it's any good or worth it.  Computer is running a tad slow and the ole "blue screen" has popped up a couple of times in the last month or so.  Hoping to find a program to run that would clean the computer up and restore/improve speed.

TIA !

Try Disk Cleanup and Defrag first.

Did the clean up and defrag a couple of times already - thanks. Also used a free program called Defraggler.

I use the www.ccleaner.com myself, it's free through File Hippo. I like it and I haven't had any problems in almost a year.
I also use Spybot Search and Destroy for Spyware.
